Kalemetiya Bird Sanctuary is the one of oldest and a min bird sanctuary in sri lanka. kalametiya Bird sanctuary situated 20Km away Tangalle. There are over 175 species of birds here. Bird sanctuary is in middle of the kalametiya brackish lagoon.
